Motorola Limited Warranty - Canada

Who is covered?
This warranty extends only to the original consumer who purchases Motorola’s wall chargers, car chargers, and data/charging cables, audio adapter cables in new condition (which bear the Motorola authentication hologram label) from the following authorized outlets in Canada and is not transferrable:
- ca.motorolachargers.com
- fr-ca.motorolachargers.com
- Amazon.ca, with Amazon.ca or Salom America Company as the authorized sellers

Motorola Limited Warranty - Canada
Subject to the exclusions contained below, Motorola Licensee, Salom America Company, warrants that for a period of one year (or minimum period otherwise required by law) from the date of purchase by the first consumer purchaser of the product that this product is free from defects in materials and workmanship and conforms to its specifications*. The length of warranty coverage after the repair or replacement is the balance of the original warranty or ninety (90) days from the date returned to the consumer, whichever is longer. This warranty may only be claimed within Canada and any replacement will only be shipped to addresses within Canada.

How to Obtain Warranty Service
When you need warranty service, please provide your purchase invoice for verification of purchase and a written description of the problem. We may ask you to return the product for the purpose of failure analysis. We will provide warranty service to customers who purchase the products directly from the authorized outlets indicated in “Who is Covered?” section above. If you purchase the products from other non-authorized distributor, retailer or seller, please contact them directly. Salom America Company reserves the right to replace the defective product with the same model or alternative comparable model.

*Exclusions:
Normal Wear and Tear. Periodic maintenance, repair and replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear are excluded from coverage.
Abuse, Misuse and others.
Defects or damage that result from:
(a) improper operation, storage, misuse or abuse, accident or neglect, such as physical damage (cracks, scratches, etc.) to the surface of the product resulting from misuse;
(b) contact with liquid, water, rain, extreme humidity or heavy perspiration, sand, dirt or the like, extreme heat, or food;
(c) use of Motorola chargers or cables for commercial purposes or subjecting Motorola chargers or cables to abnormal usage or conditions; or
(d) other acts which are not the fault of Motorola, manufacturer, licensee, distributor, or Lenovo, are excluded from coverage.

Unauthorized Service or Modification. Defects or damages resulting from service, testing, alteration, or modification in any way by someone other than Motorola, or its authorized service centers, are excluded from coverage. Products with broken seals or that show evidence of tampering are also excluded from coverage.

What Other Limitations are There?

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, OTHERWISE THE REPAIR, REPLACEMENT, OR REFUND AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER, AND IS PROVIDED IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LICENSEE, MANUFACTURER, DISTRIBUTOR, MOTOROLA MOBILITY LLC OR MOTOROLA TRADEMARK HOLDINGS, LLC, AND LENOVO GROUP LIMITED BE LIABLE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) FOR DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT, ACCESSORY OR SOFTWARE, OR FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, OR LOSS OF REVENUE OR PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF INFORMATION OR DATA, SOFTWARE OR APPLICATIONS OR OTHER FINANCIAL LOSS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE ABILITY OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCTS, ACCESSORIES OR SOFTWARE TO THE FULL EXTENT THESE DAMAGES MAY BE DISCLAIMED BY LAW.
